Kaan Dogrusoz

Kaan Dogrusoz is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Weave Robotics, an early-stage consumer hardware startup currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Prior to launching the robotics company in early 2024, he spent over three years operating as a Product Design Engineer at Apple, where he directly contributed to the mechanical development, testing, and mass manufacturing of flagship consumer electronics. His current venture is backed by Y Combinator as part of the accelerator's Summer 2024 cohort, securing initial funding to build autonomous robotic systems designed to manage routine domestic chores. Before entering the consumer electronics industry, Dogrusoz earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics from the University of Pennsylvania. His technical background and current entrepreneurial focus center on scaling complex hardware products from initial prototyping through high-volume global production.
