Kaela Worthen

Kaela Worthen is the cofounder of Sunset, a financial technology platform designed to help families locate and transfer funds following the loss of a loved one. Prior to establishing this specialized end-of-life financial logistics company, she operated as a serial entrepreneur and multidisciplinary product leader across the consumer technology and fintech sectors. Worthen previously cofounded two distinct technology startups, launching the startup financing service Paintbrush and the community-focused platform Imzy. Earlier in her career, she served as a Group Product Manager and held cross-functional roles spanning engineering, user experience, and data science at technology companies including Reddit and Podium. She specializes in building consumer and financial products from the ground up to address complex logistical challenges. Her current focus remains on zero-to-one product development and scaling Sunset to streamline estate management and complex financial transitions.
