Kanjun Qiu

Kanjun Qiu is the co-founder and CEO of Imbue and a General Partner at Outset Capital, based in San Francisco, California. At Imbue, an artificial intelligence research laboratory developing agentic systems, she recently led a $200 million Series B funding round backed by NVIDIA and Founders Fund, bringing the company to a valuation exceeding $1 billion. Through Outset Capital, she manages a portfolio of approximately 20 early-stage technology and software startups and recently announced a new venture fund exceeding $100 million. Previously, she co-founded the artificial intelligence recruiting startup Sourceress and served as Chief of Staff and a software engineer at Dropbox. She holds both bachelor's and master's degrees in computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her current professional focus centers on advancing artificial general intelligence research and funding early-stage frontier technology developers.
