Kartik Tiwari

Kartik Tiwari is a serial technical founder and robotics engineer based in San Francisco, California. As a three-time technical founder and two-time Y Combinator alumnus, he previously served as the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Starsky Robotics. During his tenure, he led the engineering team that successfully deployed the first fully unmanned driverless truck on a public highway with live traffic in June 2019, following a seven-mile closed-road test in 2018. Before Starsky Robotics ceased operations in early 2020, Tiwari also held the position of CTO at Alphalem Inc. and studied robotics at Carnegie Mellon University after earning a mechanical engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Banaras Hindu University. His professional background centers on developing intelligent systems, with a primary focus on artificial intelligence, machine learning, and autonomous transportation logistics.
