Kaushik Iska is the Co-founder and CTO of PeerDB, a data movement platform recently acquired by ClickHouse, and is currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He launched PeerDB as an open-source tool optimized for PostgreSQL ETL workflows, participating in Y Combinator's Summer 2023 batch and raising a $3.5 million seed round before the July 2024 acquisition. Prior to this entrepreneurial venture, Iska served as an Engineering Lead at SafeGraph and worked as a Forward-Deployed Engineer at Palantir Technologies handling complex enterprise data systems. He began his professional career as a Software Engineer at Google after earning a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad. His technical background centers on building large-scale distributed computing systems, enterprise database infrastructure, and real-time data ingestion pipelines for modern enterprise technology startups.
