Kevin Moore

Kevin Moore is the Co-founder of Quilt Data, a venture-backed enterprise data management startup based in the San Francisco Bay Area, California. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree from the University of Wisconsin, where his academic research focused heavily on highly specialized processor and memory systems. Prior to launching his current company, Moore engineered hardware-optimized software and scale-out in-memory database processing systems as a technologist at Oracle. He also contributed to advanced hardware architectures and high-performance data processing technologies during his earlier engineering tenure at Sun Microsystems. His current venture, which participated in the Y Combinator Winter 2017 accelerator cohort, develops scalable cloud architecture and data versioning solutions for complex enterprise environments. Moore currently focuses on bridging advanced hardware capabilities with cloud-based databases to build high-performance, scalable enterprise data processing systems for modern technology organizations.
