Khalil Zahar is the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of FightCamp, a connected fitness and interactive boxing platform based in Costa Mesa, California. Before entering the digital wellness space, he studied mechanical engineering and robotics at Université Laval and the University of Toronto. Zahar originally entered the wearable technology sector by founding Hykso, a combat sports startup that developed punch-tracking sensors utilized by Olympic boxing teams. After participating in the Y Combinator accelerator program, he transitioned the standalone hardware tracker into a comprehensive subscription-based home gym ecosystem. Under his leadership, FightCamp secured over $90 million in venture funding through a 2021 investment round backed by New Enterprise Associates and professional athletes including Mike Tyson. Zahar's current focus centers on scaling consumer hardware and software solutions within the connected fitness and combat sports markets.
