Kristen Anderson is the former Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Catch, a payroll and benefits platform for the self-employed backed by Y Combinator that was recently acquired. During her tenure, she guided the financial technology startup through its growth phase, securing $20 million in venture capital funding from investors including Khosla Ventures and Crosslink Capital. Previously, Anderson served as Director of Product at Candidly, launching an early student loan repayment platform, and worked as a Product Innovation Manager at Commonwealth. At Commonwealth, she designed and scaled financial savings products that ultimately reached more than 80 million consumers. She holds a Master's degree in International Business from Hult and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Economics from Pepperdine University. Her career focuses on developing accessible financial technology and benefit solutions tailored for underserved populations and independent workers.
