Kristy Gao

Kristy Gao is the Chief Technology Officer of Cenote, an early-stage health-tech startup based in San Francisco, USA. She co-founded the company alongside members of her book club to address structural complexities within the United States healthcare system, subsequently securing acceptance into Y Combinator and raising $500,000 in seed funding. Prior to launching Cenote, Gao worked as a software engineer at Watershed, a climate technology and carbon accounting startup. Her earlier technical experience includes software engineering roles at major technology firms such as Google and PayPal, as well as positions at various seed-stage startups.
