Kyle Macomber

Kyle Macomber is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Bitrig, an early-stage mobile application development platform. Prior to launching his current venture, he spent more than a decade as an engineering leader at Apple, where he managed critical development teams responsible for the Swift Standard Library, Swift Charts, and WidgetKit. During his extensive tenure at the multinational consumer technology corporation, Macomber co-created the SwiftUI framework alongside software engineer Jacob Xiao. He recently established Bitrig through the Y Combinator startup accelerator program, partnering with a founding team that includes a former Apple Design Award-winning designer from Storehouse, an application previously acquired by Square. Macomber's current professional focus centers on building advanced infrastructure that enables software engineers to utilize vibe coding to seamlessly test and deploy Swift applications directly from their personal Apple iPhone devices.
