León Bartolomé Carreño

León Bartolomé Carreño is a Co-Founder of Momento, a full-stack auto insurance startup based in Mexico City, Mexico. Since establishing the company in September 2021, he has helped secure $51.5 million across four funding rounds from prominent investors including Y Combinator and Bain Capital Ventures. The insurtech firm targets a $13 billion untapped market, specifically focusing on the estimated 30 million uninsured vehicles currently operating throughout Mexico. Prior to launching Momento, Carreño spent three years at McKinsey & Company, where he worked as a Business Analyst and later as an Associate advising clients on corporate strategy and private equity. He holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London. His current focus centers on scaling operations and improving internal processes to expand digital insurance access across underserved Latin American markets.
