Lennard Schmidt

Lennard Schmidt is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Langdock, an artificial intelligence software company based in Berlin, Germany. He leads product development and growth for the early-stage startup, which recently secured a $2 million seed round led by European venture capital firms in January 2026. Under his leadership, Langdock launched its beta platform in the first quarter of 2025, accumulating over 10,000 waitlist signups by integrating technologies adjacent to ecosystems like Perplexity AI, GitHub, Vercel, and Replicate. Prior to founding the business, Schmidt worked as a software engineer specializing in machine learning and developer tools, building an audience of more than 5,000 followers on professional networking platforms. Following his appearance at the Berlin AI Dev Summit, his current focus centers on advancing natural language processing capabilities to create accessible coding workflows and productivity software for developers.
