Luke Matthews

Luke Matthews is a Partner at Maven Capital Partners based in the South of England, where he operates out of the firm's Bristol and Reading offices. Before joining Maven in 2019, he served as an Investment Director at Connection Capital, executing growth capital and buyout transactions. His earlier career includes corporate finance and M&A roles at KPMG, UBM plc, and Nova Capital, following his graduation with a degree in Economics and Management from the University of Oxford. In his current capacity, Matthews originates and executes SME investments across the software, manufacturing, and TMT sectors, recently leading a September 2022 funding round for Bud Systems. He holds multiple board positions, including director appointments at CYSIAM, 2 Degrees Limited, and Blueskytec Ltd, maintaining a primary focus on deploying growth capital through the SWIF Maven Equity Finance fund.
