Luzhou Chen

Luzhou Chen is currently a Partner at Sequoia Capital based in San Francisco, California, where he focuses on early-stage enterprise software and artificial intelligence investments. Prior to joining the venture capital firm in 2021, he spent four years as a Senior Product Manager at Google, overseeing the launch of three major machine learning infrastructure tools that scaled to over ten million enterprise users. He previously founded DataFlow Inc., a data analytics startup that raised $15 million in Series A funding before being acquired by Microsoft in 2018. Chen began his career as a software engineer at Stripe, contributing to the core payment processing architecture during a period of rapid expansion. He holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Stanford University and maintains a primary focus on supporting technical founders building next-generation developer tools.
