Maddie Maloney

Maddie Maloney is a Principal at Northpond Ventures, where she leads origination, sourcing, diligence, and monitoring efforts across the firm's life sciences investment portfolio. Prior to entering venture capital, she worked as a management consultant at TRINITY Life Sciences, advising both emerging and established biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies on strategic initiatives spanning pre-clinical development through commercial market launch. Earlier in her professional career, Maloney gained foundational scientific training by holding specialized research positions at the Gates Center for Regenerative Medicine and Boston Children's Hospital. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from Middlebury College, where she graduated summa cum laude and received Phi Beta Kappa academic honors. Her current investment focus centers on identifying and supporting early and growth-stage life sciences companies advancing pharmaceutical development, biotechnology, and regenerative medicine.
