Maddy Burleson

Maddy Burleson is a Principal at Western Technology Investment (WTI) based in Portola Valley, California. In this capacity, she specializes in providing non-dilutive venture debt financing to growth-stage startups across various innovation sectors, supporting a firm that has historically committed over $7 billion in capital to more than 1,400 companies. Prior to advancing to her current position, she initially joined WTI as an Analyst in 2020 following a 2019 internship. Previously, she worked in product marketing and go-to-market positioning at Ubiquity6, an augmented reality and 3D gaming startup that was subsequently acquired by Discord. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, graduating summa cum laude from the University of San Francisco. Her current focus centers on structuring debt facilities that enable emerging technology companies to scale operations while minimizing equity dilution for their founders.
