Malcolm Ferguson

Malcolm Ferguson is the Managing Partner at Ferguson Ventures, an early-stage technology investment firm based in San Francisco, California. He previously served as a Principal at Andreessen Horowitz focusing on enterprise software and participated in the Sequoia Capital Scout Program after earning a B.S. in Computer Science from Stanford University. Throughout his venture career, Ferguson has built a portfolio of more than 15 early-stage investments, resulting in three notable startup exits to major technology corporations including Google and Salesforce. His recent investment activity includes leading a $5 million seed funding round for the artificial intelligence coding platform CodeForge in March 2026 and joining the board of directors at Verdant Labs. Ferguson currently focuses his capital allocation on leading seed and Series A investments across the artificial intelligence, enterprise software-as-a-service, developer infrastructure, and climate technology sectors.
