Malvika Bhagwat

Malvika Bhagwat is a Partner and Head of Outcomes at Owl Ventures, based in San Francisco, California. In this capacity, she leads portfolio services and impact initiatives for over 100 education technology companies, advises global limited partners, and directs the firm's annual Education Outcomes Report. Prior to joining Owl Ventures, she directed impact and efficacy strategies for the EdTech investment portfolio at Emerson Collective. She also operated as an early team member at Newsela, where she established the research and assessment divisions, and worked as a founding member of Mindspark’s English program in India. Bhagwat holds a Master of Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and serves on Google’s Education Advisory Council. Her professional background centers on advancing learning sciences, assessment design, and rigorous outcomes measurement across the global education technology ecosystem.
