Manil Lakabi

Manil Lakabi is the founder of x1, an artificial intelligence application studio startup based in San Francisco, California. Founded in 2024 with a team of five employees, the company participated in the Y Combinator Fall 2024 batch under the guidance of primary partner David Lieb. The startup develops a specialized platform designed to guide developers through the entire process of building iOS applications, from initial concept to final App Store launch. Prior to launching his own venture, Lakabi served as an operator on the generative artificial intelligence team at Scale AI. He also previously worked within the Facebook Reality Labs division at Meta, contributing to the technology conglomerate's early consumer hardware and software engineering initiatives.
