Manish Chauhan

Manish Chauhan is the CEO and Co-Founder of SureBright, an insurtech startup backed by Y Combinator, based in Toronto, Canada. Before launching the e-commerce warranty platform in November 2021, he served as a Product Development Manager at ApplyBoard and spent over four years as a Software Development Engineer and Product Manager at Amazon Web Services. His earlier technical career includes engineering roles at Mitel and the Samsung Research Institute, where he began his career as a Senior Software Engineer in 2010. Chauhan holds an MBA from INSEAD in France and a Master of Mathematics in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo, and he has served as a board member for the InsurTech Association since 2023. His professional background centers on building scalable, low-latency software systems and developing embedded insurance products for the global retail sector.
