Marcelo Coelho Vasconcellos is the Managing Partner at OMNIVEST, an early-stage venture capital firm based in São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil. Assuming the leadership role in 2023, he currently oversees a portfolio of more than 20 startups and helps direct over $50 million in total assets under management. In the first quarter of 2025, Vasconcellos led a $5 million seed funding round for the edtech startup Educando and subsequently presented on Latin American venture capital trends at Web Summit Rio. Before joining OMNIVEST, he gained direct entrepreneurial experience and worked as an investor at Bossa Invest, following the completion of his MBA at Insper. His current investment strategy focuses on providing capital to early-stage technology ventures across the fintech, healthtech, edtech, and enterprise software sectors throughout the broader Latin American market.
