Marcin Zabielski

Marcin Zabielski is a Managing Partner at Market One Capital based in Warsaw, Poland. He brings 30 years of experience across strategic consulting and entrepreneurship, having co-founded the online auction platform Vatera in 2000 before spending six years building Grupa Pracuj into a regional HR technology unicorn. Transitioning to venture capital, Zabielski managed the micro-VC Hedgehog Fund starting in 2012, where he led early-stage investments in companies like Preply.com. At Market One Capital, he oversees more than €140 million in total assets under management, including the firm's €80 million Fund III which closed in 2022. Throughout his career, he has executed nearly 20 mergers and acquisitions for mid-sized technology firms and invested in over 80 European startups. His current investment focus centers on early-stage digital platforms and marketplaces within the consumer technology, e-commerce, and creator economy sectors.
