Marcus Love

Marcus Love is a Partner at Love Ventures based in San Francisco, California, where he focuses on seed and Series A investments in technology startups. Before transitioning to the venture capital industry, he studied computer science at Stanford University and subsequently held engineering and product management roles while founding multiple early-stage technology companies. He currently manages an active investment portfolio of more than 20 companies across the software-as-a-service, artificial intelligence, and fintech sectors, achieving notable exits through strategic acquisitions by Google and Salesforce. In March 2025, Love led a $5 million seed funding round for the artificial intelligence startup Nexlify and recently contributed venture capital investment strategy insights to Forbes. His current focus remains on partnering directly with founders to finance and scale early-stage consumer internet and enterprise software platforms within the broader technology ecosystem.
