Marek Borzestowski is a Partner at Giza Polish Ventures, an early-stage venture capital fund based in Warsaw, Poland. Established in 2012 and backed by Giza Venture Capital, the firm has invested in more than 10 technology startups across the biotechnology, enterprise software, clean technologies, and consumer internet sectors. Prior to his transition into institutional venture capital, Borzestowski spent over 15 years operating as a serial entrepreneur, co-owner, and board member. During this period, he held leadership roles at several prominent technology companies, including Wirtualna Polska, InteliWISE, and Gruper.pl. Additionally, he founded The Sobieski Institute, which currently operates as Poland's first independent public policy think tank. His current focus centers on identifying and scaling seed to growth-stage Polish technology enterprises while leveraging the broader Giza network's historical portfolio of over 100 global investments and 40 successful exits.
