Marie Duranteau

Marie Duranteau is an Associate and Program Manager for the Sofinnova BioVelocita Strategy at Sofinnova Partners. She joined the venture capital firm in 2017 as an intern and progressed through multiple roles, serving as a Junior Analyst, Analyst, and Senior Analyst before assuming her current position in December 2023. She focuses on accelerating early-stage biopharmaceutical and oncology projects across France, Italy, and the United Kingdom, frequently collaborating with research institutions like Gustave Roussy. Prior to entering the venture capital industry, she worked as a post-doctoral researcher at the Institut Jacques Monod from 2015 to 2016. She holds a doctorate in Cellular Biology from Université Paris Diderot and a master's degree in Biotechnology Entrepreneurship from HEC Paris. Her current focus combines deep cellular biology research with venture capital expertise to provide operational support for academic startup transitions.
