Marina Girgis

Marina Girgis is a Principal and checkwriter at Precursor Ventures, where she has operated as an early-stage venture capitalist since 2021. In this capacity, she functions as a generalist investor, allocating up to $500,000 per investment to support founders leading pre-seed, seed, and idea-stage startups. Her venture portfolio spans multiple sectors and includes the acquired education technology firm Smartpass, alongside emerging companies such as Hetal Retail, Claimsorted, Edera, Hanomi, and Tidal Flight. Prior to her transition into venture capital, Girgis worked in the equity research division at Bloomberg, where she analyzed and covered major public semiconductor and hardware corporations including Nvidia, Intel, and Apple. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from American University. Girgis currently focuses on backing early-stage founders who are building unique, difficult-to-replicate technologies across a broad spectrum of industries.
