Marissa Mayer is an American business executive, active investor, and the founder of the artificial intelligence company Dazzle, based in Palo Alto, California. She began her executive career as employee number 20 and the first female software engineer at Google, where she ultimately led the development of core products including Google Search, Maps, and Gmail while establishing the Associate Product Manager program in 2002. Mayer subsequently served as the president and chief executive officer of Yahoo! from 2012 until the multinational technology corporation's acquisition by Verizon in 2017.
