Mark Angelino

Mark D. Angelino is the Chief Strategy and Operating Officer at Soufflé Therapeutics, an emerging RNA biotech company based in the Cambridge, Massachusetts area. He joined the company following its $200 million Series A funding round in October 2025, transitioning from his previous role as a Venture Partner at Third Rock Ventures. Previously, Angelino co-founded Generation Bio, serving as Chief Operating Officer from 2016 to 2021, and worked as Senior Vice President of Pharmaceutical Sciences at bluebird bio between 2012 and 2016. His earlier career includes a tenure as Senior Director of Research and Development at Baxter Healthcare from 2010 to 2012, managing complex regulatory pathways for new biologics. With over 20 years of industry experience, Angelino focuses on advancing early-stage company formation, gene therapy commercialization, and clinical development across the life sciences sector.
