Mark deLaar

Mark A. deLaar is a Senior Advisor at Summit Partners based in Boston, United States. Since joining the firm in 2003, he has accumulated over two decades of investment experience, previously serving as a Managing Director before transitioning to his current advisory role. His investment portfolio includes multiple exits, such as the acquisitions of Fermentas International by Thermo Fisher Scientific and MDVIP by Goldman Sachs and Charlesbank Capital. He currently holds board directorships at four active portfolio companies, including Club Champion, eClinical Solutions, LumaBridge, and ModMed. Prior to his finance career, he served in the United States Army and earned a Bachelor of Science from the United States Military Academy and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management. Today, his primary focus remains on supporting growth-stage companies across the healthcare services, technology, and life sciences sectors.
