Mark Langley

Mark Langley is a Managing Director at New Crop Capital, a venture capital firm based in San Francisco, California. Prior to joining the firm, he cofounded the cultivated meat technology startup Better Bovine and evaluated early stage food technology deals during his tenure at Khosla Ventures. In his current capacity, he oversees a growing investment portfolio of more than twenty active companies and recently participated in closing New Crop Capital's $100 million Fund III in late 2024. His recent transaction activity includes leading a $3 million seed funding round for the startup Brown Foods in March 2024, further expanding his footprint in the cellular agriculture sector. Holding an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, Langley maintains his primary venture investment focus on scaling innovative startups within the alternative protein and sustainable agriculture sectors.
