Mark McDonnell

Mark McDonnell is a Managing Director, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Administrative Officer at ARCH Venture Partners in Chicago, United States. During his tenure of over 25 years at the early-stage life science venture capital firm, he has overseen operational functions and investor relationships, recently supporting the September 2024 close of ARCH Venture Fund XIII with $3 billion in capital commitments. Prior to joining ARCH, he served as Chief Financial Officer at Marquette Venture Partners and held financial management positions at Enterprise Systems, a prominent healthcare software developer. He previously worked with information and communication industry clients during his time at KPMG and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Marquette University. McDonnell currently focuses on developing limited partner strategies and managing strategic relationships to advance early-stage biotechnology, life sciences, and healthcare innovation.
