Mark Piper is a Seattle-based technology entrepreneur and engineering leader who most recently served as the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at Worksphere. The workplace management startup raised $2.5 million from investors including Y Combinator before being acquired by Envoy in 2022. Previously, Piper co-founded Lish, a corporate catering marketplace that scaled to $12 million in annual recurring revenue prior to its 2020 acquisition by Amazon. Before his entrepreneurial ventures, he spent a decade at Amazon as a software development manager for Kindle for Education, and earlier worked as a senior software engineer at Pfizer. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Tufts University and a Master of Science in Software Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. His career focuses on building scalable software architecture and leading engineering teams across venture-backed technology startups.
