Mark Sykes

Mark Sykes is an Investor at Business Growth Fund (BGF) based in London, England, where he specializes in growth-stage equity investments for mid-market businesses. Since joining the firm in 2022, he has contributed to BGF’s deployment of over £3 billion across more than 100 portfolio companies, recently leading a 2023 investment in the software firm IDSL and supporting a £200 million regional fundraise in 2024. Prior to his current position, Sykes served as a Managing Director at Gresham House and held earlier private equity roles at Cinven and Barclays Private Equity.
