Markus Ertler

Markus Ertler is an active angel investor and a board member at Startup300 AG based in Vienna, Austria. He established his digital technology career by co-founding immobilien.net, which launched as Europe's first online real estate platform in 1994. Over two decades, he scaled the enterprise into the market leader for property classifieds in Austria, culminating in a successful acquisition that represented the country's largest classified marketplace exit in 2014. Following this liquidity event, he transitioned into venture capital and early-stage financing through his primary investment vehicle, Ertler Holding. His subsequent investment activity earned him the "Super Angel" designation from the Austrian Angel Investors Association in 2015, preceding his 2016 appointment to the Startup300 AG board.
