Markus Kahlbetzer

Markus Kahlbetzer is the Founder and CEO of BridgeLane Group and a Partner at Side Stage Ventures, currently based in Australia. The investor holds a Bachelor of Agricultural Economics from the University of Sydney and brings over 18 years of professional experience managing investments across multiple asset classes. Since establishing BridgeLane Group as a private firm in 2009, he has directed capital into venture capital, real estate development, and equity markets, including early-stage investments in Amaysim in 2010 and Airtasker in 2012. Through Side Stage Ventures, he focuses on pre-seed and seed-stage funding for Australian founders, while also operating a private foundation to support philanthropic initiatives aligned with sustainable development goals. His current focus combines a foundational background in large-scale agriculture with active capital allocations in early-stage technology, residential property development, and commercial real estate.
