Martin Villig is the co-founder and coordinator of impact and sustainability projects at Bolt, based in Tallinn, Estonia. Prior to launching the mobility platform alongside his brother Markus Villig, he built his corporate background by holding management positions at Skype, Fortumo, and the NASDAQ Tallinn Stock Exchange. At Bolt, he helped scale the company's ride-hailing and delivery services to operate in over 600 cities across 50 countries, reaching more than 180 million passengers and 3.5 million drivers. His 25-year entrepreneurial career began while studying at the Estonian Business School, leading to the founding and subsequent exit of his initial web design startup, ZERO, in 1998. Beyond his corporate ventures, he co-founded Garage48 and the Estonian Education Foundation. Villig currently focuses on advancing sustainable urban mobility solutions while actively fostering entrepreneurship within the European technology ecosystem.
