Maryam Mazraei

Maryam Mazraei is the Co-founder of Crowdmuse, an early-stage web3 creator economy startup based in London, United Kingdom. Before launching Crowdmuse in May 2022 with a $170,000 pre-seed round, she served as a Senior Associate at Ascension Ventures from 2020 to 2021. Her entrepreneurial career began at age 18 when she founded an ethical menswear company in 2011, eventually leading to roles as Marketing Director at Department of Coffee and Social Affairs and co-CEO at White Space. She also created Autopsy.io, the viral startup failure database that received coverage from Bloomberg and Business Insider, and holds a Master of Science in Technology Entrepreneurship from University College London (UCL). Mazraei currently focuses on building decentralized infrastructure for the creator economy, leveraging over nine years of experience across sustainable fashion, B2B SaaS marketing, and technology venture capital.
