Masahiko Honma is a Partner at KK Fund, a General Partner at Incubate Fund, and a Partner at the SMBC Asia Rising Fund. He began his career in 1998 at JAFCO, investing in Silicon Valley and Israeli technology companies, before joining Accenture Technology Ventures and later Works Capital, where he backed MonotaRO prior to its initial public offering. In 2007, Honma co-founded the mobile gaming startup Pokelabo, serving as its Chief Executive Officer until the company was acquired by GREE for $170 million in 2012. Returning to venture capital, he helped scale Incubate Fund into Japan's largest seed-stage firm and subsequently launched its international investment vehicles across India, the United States, and Brazil. Today, his primary focus centers on directing early-stage and mid-growth technology investments across Southeast Asia, India, and North and South America.
