Mathieu Viallard

Mathieu Viallard is a Founding Partner and General Partner at Axeleo Capital based in Paris, France. He co-founded the venture capital firm alongside Eric Burdier in 2017, helping grow its assets under management to approximately €300 million across a portfolio of over 70 companies and 13 successful exits. With more than 15 years of investment experience, Viallard has led 25 to 30 early-stage deals, including investments in Trustpair, Alsid, and Sentryo, which was acquired by Cisco. He recently helped secure a €125 million first close for the firm's €250 million Green Tech Industry fund, backed by institutional investors such as Bpifrance and Veolia. Holding finance degrees from Université Lyon II and Ruhr-Universität Bochum, his current investment focus targets seed to Series B rounds deploying €300K to €3M checks in European enterprise software, cybersecurity, and green technology startups.
