Matt Bisgyer

Matt Bisgyer is a Vice President at Energy Impact Partners based in New York, New York. Before joining the firm in January 2017, he was an analyst in Oppenheimer’s Technology Investment Banking Group, executing mergers, acquisitions, and capital raises for telecom and media companies. Previously, he covered semiconductors as an equity research analyst at Chardan Capital Markets after graduating from Washington University in St. Louis. He now targets early-stage climate and energy technology investments ranging from Pre-Seed to Series B+ rounds, typically deploying initial checks between $3 million and $10 million. His recent transaction history includes leading a $12 million Series B round for GridX and participating in a $41 million Series B for FYLD. Bisgyer currently focuses his investments on financing sustainable energy generation, decarbonization, and decentralized infrastructure across the United States and Europe.
