Matt Coffin is a Los Angeles-based serial entrepreneur, angel investor, and the Managing Director of his personal investment vehicle, LMB Ventures. He previously founded the performance marketing platform LowerMyBills.com, serving as its chief executive officer before selling the enterprise to Nextag in 2008 for a reported valuation exceeding $100 million. Prior to this major exit, he co-founded the commercial real estate data firm Real Capital Analytics and earned his bachelor's degrees in Entrepreneurial Studies and Finance from Babson College. As an active early-stage backer, Coffin has invested in over 50 technology startups, advised multiple venture-backed ad tech firms through 2024, and joined the board of directors at X in late 2022. Drawing on his operational background, his current investment and advisory focus centers on scaling early-stage consumer internet, digital media, and advertising technology companies.
