Matt Cohler

Matt Cohler is the Owner at Oslo Holdings and a Partner at Benchmark, based in New York City. He began his career as an analyst at McKinsey & Company from 2001 to 2003 before serving as the founding Vice President and General Manager at LinkedIn until 2005. Cohler subsequently joined Facebook as the Vice President of Product Management, working there until his transition to Benchmark in 2008. As an investor, he led a $7 million funding round for Instagram prior to its $1 billion acquisition in 2012, while also backing technology companies like Dropbox and Asana. The Yale University graduate currently serves on the board of 1stDibs, having previously held a director seat at Uber from 2017 to 2019. His professional focus remains on providing venture capital to early-stage consumer internet and enterprise software companies.
