Matt Greenleaf

Matt Greenleaf is an Operating Partner and Co-Founder at MAGIC Fund, an early-stage venture capital firm based in San Francisco, California. Since its inception in 2017, the firm has invested in more than 70 companies globally, including notable technology startups such as Retool, Novo, Mono, and Payfazz. Under his leadership, the global collective of founder-investors successfully raised a $30 million second fund in July 2021 to expand its pre-seed and seed investments across emerging markets in Africa, Europe, and Latin America. Prior to establishing MAGIC Fund alongside partners like Adegoke Olubusi, Greenleaf served as a Co-Founder at Bridle and was an early founding team member and advisor at Bamboo. The San Francisco State University alumnus currently focuses on providing capital and operational support to diverse early-stage technology founders navigating complex global emerging markets.
