Matt Kinley

Matt Kinley serves as the Co-founder and Managing Partner of ManchesterStory Group, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Des Moines, Iowa. Prior to launching the firm in 2016, he spent over two decades managing venture investments as the Senior Managing Director at Pappajohn Capital Resources and Vice President at Equity Dynamics. During his extensive tenure working alongside prominent investor John Pappajohn, Kinley directed numerous equity investments and served on the board of directors for more than twenty private and public companies. He initially began his professional career working as a Certified Public Accountant at KPMG before eventually earning his Juris Doctor from the University of Iowa College of Law. Drawing upon his dual background in law and finance, Kinley currently focuses on directing venture capital into high-growth technology startups operating within the insurance, financial services, and healthcare sectors.
