Matt Koran

Matt Koran is a Principal at Insight Partners based in New York, NY, where he focuses on investments in high-growth software and internet startups. He joined the venture capital firm in 2016 as an Analyst and subsequently progressed through Associate and Vice President roles before assuming his current position. In his capacity as a venture capital investor, he notably participated alongside Bessemer Venture Partners in the $110 million Series C funding round for Teleport in May 2022, which valued the company at $1.1 billion. Koran currently serves as a board observer for Teleport and previously gained financial markets experience as a Sales and Trading Summer Analyst at Guggenheim Partners.
