Matt Parmett

Matt Parmett is a software engineer and former healthcare venture capitalist based in Seattle who previously served as a Principal at Echo Health Ventures from 2018 to 2022. Before transitioning to software engineering, he worked as a Healthcare Investment Banking Associate at JP Morgan, structuring over $15 billion in debt and advising health systems on mergers and acquisitions. During his tenure at Echo Health Ventures, Parmett led the top quartile fund's virtual care investing practice, focusing on early to growth stage healthcare technology companies. He executed Series A through Series D investments in prominent startups like Dispatch Health, TytoCare, Genome Medical, Heartbeat Health, and FastMed. In addition to serving as a board observer for Dispatch Health, TytoCare, and FastMed, he shared insights on telemedicine trends and evaluated business models using discounted cash flow and comparable valuations.
