Matt Stein

Matt Stein is the General Partner at Boon Fund and concurrently serves as an Emerging Manager Partner at the venture firm Inovia Capital. Prior to his current roles in venture capital investment, he dropped out of his university studies to join the financial technology startup Clearco as one of its earliest core team employees. During his five-year tenure at the venture-backed firm, Stein advanced through multiple operational and leadership positions, ultimately serving as both Chief of Staff and Vice President of Corporate Development. In these dual executive capacities, he directly managed the company's extensive capital raising initiatives and guided broader corporate strategy as the business rapidly scaled its operations. Today, his professional focus centers on venture capital fund management, early-stage startup operations, and cultivating strategic investment partnerships with emerging managers across the broader technology sector.
