Matt Tillman

Matt Tillman is a General Partner at TnT Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Before co-founding his current firm, he served as a Principal at Bessemer Venture Partners, where he focused on enterprise software and cybersecurity investments following earlier roles in product management. Tillman has built a portfolio of over 20 companies, including an early investment in Retool prior to its 2024 acquisition by Cisco. In 2025, he led an $8 million seed round for the artificial intelligence workflow startup Nexlify, and his firm recently announced a $50 million fund for Q1 2026. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Stanford University and recently spoke at the TechCrunch Disrupt 2024 conference. Tillman currently focuses on backing seed-stage technology founders developing enterprise software, artificial intelligence, and developer tools.
