Matteo Fago is an Italian engineer, entrepreneur, and investor who currently serves as a startup consultant and the publisher of L’Asino d’Oro, the monthly magazine Il Salvagente, and the weekly publication Left. He previously co-founded Venere.com, which successfully operated as Italy's first dedicated hotel booking portal before being acquired by the global travel company Expedia. Following this acquisition, Fago transitioned into the media sector while continuing his involvement in the technology ecosystem as an active angel investor and strategic advisor.
