Matthew Ford

Matthew Ford is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Sidekick, a financial technology startup developing a next-generation investment management platform pending regulatory approval from the Financial Conduct Authority. Before launching Sidekick, he founded the consumer money management application Pariti, scaling the business until it was acquired by Tandem Bank in 2018. He previously served as the Head of Customer Acquisition at OnTrees, where he directed user growth strategies prior to the company's acquisition by Moneysupermarket Group. Ford also worked as a Partner at the fintech-focused venture capital firm Mouro Capital, where he published industry research including the "Payments' Five Forces" framework, and he began his professional career working as a Strategy Consultant at Deloitte and Capgemini. His current focus centers on building consumer investment products that unlock institutional-grade financial portfolios for everyday retail investors.
